Tell us a bit about your role
I’ve had the great pleasure of working as a Speech Pathologist for the last 12 years in both public health and private practice. Robinson Speech Pathology provides services for adults with communication and/or swallowing disorders.
What does a typical work day look like for you?
I start early in the morning and offer a mobile service across metropolitan Sydney. On selected days I also offer regional outreach services for clients with specific needs e.g. clients with a brain injury, clients with a progressive neurological disease.
Do you have a particular area of clinical interest/clients you enjoy working with the most?
I offer a full range of adult Speech Pathology services. I have a strong interest in the management of communication and swallowing disorders associated with neurological disease, stroke and brain injury.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
I love to laugh and relax having a great meal with family or friends. I really enjoy live music and going to the theatre.
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
Early bird – always hoping to beat the traffic!
Tea or coffee?!
Both are wonderful.
